Sweet deal. I'm all for kids being spoiled if it means them putting in hard work during their most vital developmental years.

He's on a pretty strict "no video games before a certain time" rule during the week. The thing is, he is such a good kid and listens to everything we say that sometimes I have to tell him to break the rules a bit. The other night when he was going to bed he said "I wish I could stay up and play more Fire Emblem, but mom will get mad". I told him she was already asleep and he should stay up and play. He was very hesitant but he finally gave in... :)

As he should. Looks awesome.

I really want to buy this too.
I love all the zelda games
Well, his grandma said she was going to get it for him since he got all A's (he's taking mostly AP classes as a freshman in high school).

The plus side to this (besides not having to fork out the dough myself) is I can now use his "old" 3DS.
get your own Pokemon cart and we'll trade and battle

Have been playing the Ace Attorney series lately...
Never though that a game about lawyers could be so much entertaining.

Finished GTAV last weekend and i'm still doing all these silly side missions just so i have an excuse to keep hanging out in San Andreas. I waited til after the big score before doing most of the Lester Assassination missions so I could earn a ton of cash to buy up all the properties I could afford. The most rewarding activity though was crashing the gates at the military base and stealing a fighter jet and then bombing the fuck out of everything.

Next up is Farcry 3.

I haven't really felt a need to return to GTA V since I beat it. I should probably get around to that sometime this weekend.

Oh shit, I gotta break into the military base.

Where did you order it? Mine is guaranteed to be delivered Friday. I'll be out of town until Sunday though. Lame.

Just got my extra Dual Shock 4 in the mail. What an upgrade over the 3. This thing is awesome. Can't wait to actually play some games with it (you can use it to play some ps3 games, but it must be plugged into the PS3).

Having trouble getting into The Last of Us. The controls seem so clunky and all the sneaking around just starts to feel tedious rather than compelling. I'd like to finish it before I get my PS4, but I'm not really feeling it.

Keep going. You're probably only about 1/3 of the way through the game. It's worth it.

Yeah it took me several hours of game play to get into it. I'm glad I stuck with it but it was tough in the beginning.
