Saw him twice so far, first time was underwhelming (outside on Americana tour), second time was really something else. (In a theatre)

Saw Counting Crows tonight at an arena - the entire upper level was blacked out (my ticket was upgraded to 1st level), but it was pretty fun.

The arena dropped a curtain around the entire empty top level and focused all the lighting on the 1st and floor levels. And the 1st level was a bit patchy.

I just sold my tickets to the Daughters show I was gonna go see next week. Based on the sets so far, they’re only playing four songs from the album I love, so I’d rather just get my money back. Made me sad to do it, though.
