Ironic that a great deal of the talk locally and nationally was Brady at age 40 and his health. With Hightower now out for the year, NE has now lost its MVP on defense. And earlier in the year, its best WR (Edelman). Both younger and out due to injury. Bummer.

I don't like Kiko Alonso and I don't blame that Ravens dude for immediately going after him, but Flacco was running hard right at the first down marker and slid very late when he saw he was about to get lit up. It deserved the 15 yard penalty but he should not get suspended for that.

slide protection for QBs shouldn't be a rule

if they are going to take off like a runner they should be subject to the same shit as everyone else

then he wouldn't have slid

and then he wouldn't have had his head knocked off

I believe any runners can slide actually. They usually just don’t

hm. i stand corrected.

i revise my sentiment to: "if they don't want to get hit in the head they should not slide, slide earlier, or slide with their head way lower"

NFL defensive players are dumber than dogs that eat their own shit and expecting them to pull up and save your skull is a stretch

Austin Hooper = Yard Short. Quickly becoming the most consistent thing in sports.

The Falcons O-line is not as good as last year, either in pass protection or run blocking. The quick strike offense is not there; Matt Ryan is not throwing deep nearly as often and Freeman is not having those big runs like he did last year. They barely seem to use Tevin Coleman. When they do move the ball their red zone production seems way down. Atlanta can't hold on to the ball and there seems to be more penalties this year than last, which has a way of bogging down an offense too. And they've been giving the Jets short fields all day today.
There are defense issue too but this team's bread and butter is it's offense. Actually, without two late defensive stands (and a little luck) the Falcons would be 1-5 going into today.
This city just can't have nice sports things.

I was thinking this would be the best game of the week and it didn't dissapoint.

Will Fuller has 7 TDs in 11 catches. That is insane.

Yeah, it wasn’t that hard to see Watson was probably going to be great.

That he wasn’t a top 5 pick is mind blowing.

Sort of ironic that they finally find a QB and now defense is the problem.
