I guess Jay Baruchel does kinda sound like Christian Slater now that he mentions it

lately these modern cgi animated movies with human characters creep me out. Big Hero 6 was the same way for me. We have crashed into the uncanny valley.

The Minions movie is going to be my favorite movie of the year.

It looks funny, but I was disappointed when the full trailer revealed it has a conventional plot. The teaser looked so much more interesting.

Yeah, I know they are going for the laughs more than some epic animated story. And it may be juvenile, but I don't care, those things make me laugh.

Oh, I'm not disagreeing about that. I laugh at most of the trailer.

Fury.
I liked it, mainly because of some great battle scenes including the drawn out finale sequence. I felt it did bog down in the middle though with Wardaddy & Norman holed up with two German civilians. That part went on too long. While Brad Pitt is obviously the marquee star this was another good performance by Logan Lerman.
I don't think Fury will go down as a great WWII movie but it's a good watch none the less.

I thought that "holed up" section was by far the best part of the movie.

Maybe I will feel different if/when I re-watch but I definitely liked action scenes better.
