Thanks, bro. I really like the look of those. What kind of support do they provide? Supposedly I do need some around the middle of my arch. Since I'm not running a ton of miles it really may not matter right now.

I took the Freedom's on a run after work. Just did a mostly casual, moderately pace because I knew I couldn't kill myself today and also to get a good feel for them. The first two miles were a little over 10:00 and the last around 9:20. They still oddly feel heavier than the Boston's i've been using, but definitely much lighter than the Saucony Guide's. I think they strike a good balance for me in terms of my longer/slower and shorter/faster runs. I'm not going to be running consistent 8:00 minute miles anytime soon, and I know not in this pair's life, so I think they're going to work out very well. I do wish they had more design though.

I really hope I can get and stay in a rhythm now with the time change. I've stocked up on cold weather gear and really don't want to join a gym. I'll figure it out.

I hate running after work. I always prefer going in the morning. Anyway, I did a 7 @ 9:22 after work today. I'll take it.

I still hate you.

With the time change it would be to my benefit to become a morning runner since I much prefer to go in the daytime, but I also kinda like decompressing after work with a run. I don't want to, but I may have to try to work in lunchtime runs too. Either way I just need to stay out there.

What shoes do you rock again?

I knew you’d come running back to us.

5 miles @ a 9:00 pace.

It was a tad cold/windy but otherwise a really nice "kick off the rust" kind of run today.

Just signed up for my first race in four years. It's the PPTC Turkey Trot 5 miler on Thanksgiving Day in Prospect Park.

Accidentally ended up on the cart path of a golf course next to the park where I was running today. Yards and yards of undulating, tree lined gravel curves, wasted on golf cart traffic. Claiming it for the runners felt like the baller move.

7 miles at a 9.01 pace.

I don't often run back to back days just because of scheduling. Felt good.

Which recreational jurisdiction should I claim for the runners next?
