Drop the leak, drop the leak, get outta my fckin face.

Looks like willing it to leak didn't help. Someone needs to take their phone to the record store listening party tomorrow and record the album, then share the recording here for whoever is willing to hear that kind of quality (me).

Saw some posts on Twitter last night from random folks saying they had advance copies.

I'm amazed it still hasn't leaked.

My theory is that no one has a disc drive in their computer anymore so ripping a physical copy is not an option

That's a bummer - We could have much more Pearl Jam music if they didn't feel the need to tour

eh, well at least that's clarification; I don't begrudge them the family thing at all; I don't agree that live performance is music's "natural habitat", especially as someone who can't access a lot of concerts (one or two a year, tops), I think live / record are simply two mediums for music, but... oh well, I can disagree with Pearl Jam at my ripe old age of 42 and still be grateful for what we get

It’s my birthday so a leak today would be great!

So I checked the DM movie situation here in Pittsburgh in case this thing somehow doesn’t leak and the 8:00pm show is basically sold out and they added a second show lol. Seems kinda nutty to me…

I disagree as well, but Pearl Jam's reputation and legacy is more grounded in their live shows than their studio albums, and I'm sure that's how they think about themselves as well. I wonder if they had a hugely successful album that they thought could stand on its own as an artifiact might encourage them to do another one without touring (Automatic for the People didn't have a tour)

I could also envision the problem of having to tour off of two albums of new material you wanted to showcase while still needing to keep in the core songs that psych a crowd up AND including some less frequently played songs. Those setlists would get really crowded really quickly
