Correct. They never really "leak", as such, anymore. Usually have to wait until Qobuz in Australia releases something.

Does 2020 count as "these days"? If yes, I remember hearing Gigaton on 20 March in my timezone. It was released on 27 March.
You heard Gigaton because I had an acquaintance connected with a friend I no longer have communication with.
Ah, OK. Well, I don't think they had record store listening parties open for the public 5 days before release in 2020. We have that this time, so that's one way for this thing to leak.

I didn't realize (or forgot) you were patient zero. We all owe you a debt! Also, why did you break off that acquaintance? That was very short sighted of you. Debt cancelled!

Technically, sure, but, speaking for myself, I wouldn't want my first listen to be off of a clandestine pocket recording.

Zero sum debt, stip. LOL
C'est la vie!

I'd like to think if it was a crappy muffled recording I'd just wait a few days. But I will almost certainly listen to anything.

Ahhhh, who am I kidding? I'd listen to a recording of a record playback taking place during a kid's birthday party, at this point.

It was promo songs for MLB if I recall...via a Phish message board

The only positive impression anything Phish-related has ever made in my life...
aside from those free tabs of LSD a very generous young lady saw fit to gift me in the parking lot of the Nassau Colosseum in 1998.

I hope they're not paying them very much
I hope they're paying them in posters!

Well Ive heard it.
It’s ok. Think I prefer Gigaton but it’s not a competition.
Some painfully predictable stuff and some genuinely great stuff.
As always with a pj record.
Definitely one that’ll take a good few spins to get into.

That's gimmick infringement.
Lecherous needs to sue

We’re less than a week away from official release. We don’t need a leak.
Also, I’ve had a major software rollout at work the past three weeks. It’s kept my mind off of waiting for the album.

Dime has connections. This is probably real. Dime, which songs jumped out to you on first listen. What felt predictable?

Glad you heard it! Would appreciate if you could share the songs that stood out to you the most, any song impressions, etc.? Also, to put this into context, if you could you tell us which PJ era you like the best?
