This listening party sounds odd to me. It doesn't make all that much sense to have a listening party with the producer in Germany.

My guess is that BO'B had something else he was doing in Germany this evening so he fit this in at the last minute.

I wonder if this is just playing over a pa system, or if they will have listening stations set up with headphones

Not sure how these things work at all. But if there are booths with headphones I know I'd be sneaking a recording device in there.

I went to a Private listening party back in June of 2002 for "Songs for the Deaf". it was in a private room at a little dive bar in Minneapolis. They didnt take cell phones or anything like that becauwe i think in 2002- not everyone had phones yet! nor was leaking on the internet a major problem....
But, yea, it was just a bunch of people in the room drinking beer, bullshitting and the album being blasted over the speakers. We then all went over to see Queens at a small club (400 Bar) with dave grohl on drums

Either we are bigger fans of PJ or the messages at The Pit keep getting deleted, but we've managed to post a hell of a lot more on the subject in the last couple of hours than they did.

This was essentially my experience at a Yield listening party in '98.
