One of those two teams won't even make the playoffs.

I cant imagine it being anything other than all the LB interview clips and performances that we've already seen

I just read about it on the Pit. Some show has got a Lightning Bolt special on; I don't watch American TV so I don't know any more than that.

Thats not even close to true

Yeah, they'll both easily make the playoffs.
But I have to say as a lifelong, die-hard Bulls fan, I think everyone who is picking them to get to the Finals is insane. This team is not that deep, and I don't know how they could possibly win a series against Indiana or Miami.

Expected to end up with over 20,000 this week...that's unexpected. In this market, that will make LB right about the 90th biggest selling album this year.

So who is actually still buying this? I don't think I know anyone outside of this board who has.

I've been a few days without listening. Now I started listening to the album again, I think it is already grown in terms of musicallity.

And others aren't.
I haven't watched any vids. Which are the worst/best?
Lightning Bolt works really well live. The chorus still fucking sucks though and takes away from the experience, but the rest of the song is really enhanced live. Pendulum also translates really well.
Getaway was pretty bad. Infallible loses a lot of its charm.
Infallible and Getaway are played half tone lower, so lose their shine

I'm trying to listen to the album all the way through for the first time since the day I got it (I didn't want to force myself to listen to it without actively wanting to). Getaway is better than I remember it (well, the lyrics suck, but the music is better than I remember).

Man, fuck Sirens. It feels like it's eleven minutes long in context.

It sounds like Ed is saying "You rode her shoreline every day." That sounds filthy.

Infallible sounds like Don't Believe the Truth-era Oasis. Also, I don't want to listen anymore. Fuck...

Man, I know it's a pretty divisive song around these parts, but I really enjoy Swallowed Whole. Is it good live? I feel like it'd make a good opener if they nailed it. I'm gonna stop listening to the album now. Going out on top and all that stuff. This song really hits the spot for me. This could potentially be my favorite post-Man of the Hour song by them. At 3:05 when they come back from the solo...I get a little euphoric there. I like that.

That song should be 2 minutes shorter. It feels like everything's been done after about 3 minutes and then they just go on and on. Wasn't there a quote by BO'B about the songs being longer but not necessarily "deeper" (forgot which word he used)? This is how Sirens feels to me.

Can we start using this phrase? The other night I rode this girl's shoreline.
That works, right?
