cost of healthcare and college have the middle class in a headlock too
they just won't realize they lost until it's closer to time to retire and they realize they can't
unless they are a white male, they will realize it when they are laid off ~ age 45-50 because in PC corporate America only non-veteran white males are the safe people to lay off

Lads.
Tinfoil hat time.
But people are saying that isn't Melania appearing with him now and that she's left and there's a stand in pretending to be her.
I wouldn't blame Melania for leaving quietly or otherwise and the White House just trying to cover it up but if she has, could this explain why he's coming undone so badly?

Evan McMullin, a former CIA operative and independent presidential candidate, wrote via email: “I think the president’s actions on healthcare and Iran are the latest examples of his standing political strategy, which is to throw red meat to his base in order to maintain his base, as evidence of his unfitness and inability to govern mounts.
“If anything, his use of this tactic seems to be accelerating as it becomes increasingly clear, even to some of his closest friends and political allies, that he is failing.”
This acceleration coincides with reports of a darkening in Trump’s mood. A report in Vanity Fair magazine, citing two sources, claimed he had vented to his longtime security chief, Keith Schiller: “I hate everyone in the White House! There are a few exceptions, but I hate them!”
The journalist Gabriel Sherman also wrote that several people close to the president told him that Trump was unstable, “losing a step” and unraveling. Such concerns appear to be reaching a critical mass. NBC News reported that Tillerson had referred to Trump as a moron. The president insisted the story was false, but challenged Tillerson to an IQ contest.

Because Obama made fun of him once.

Healthcare costs are one of the biggest liabilities that medium to large businesses (something like Trump International for example) have and the nature of how publicly traded health insurance companies operate is a primary driver. (But it's probably just a way to trick his base into thinking he's doing something for them)

I watched Gladiator last night and Donnie sure seems to be taking a playbook from Commodus. 150 days of games!
Gracchus: Fear and wonder, a powerful combination.
Falco: You really think people are going to be seduced by that?
Gracchus: I think he knows what Rome is. Rome is the mob. Conjure magic for them and they'll be distracted. Take away their freedom and still they'll roar. The beating heart of Rome is not the marble of the senate, it's the sand of the coliseum. He'll bring them death - and they will love him for it.

Zoom in on Mitch's face here for everything you need to know about this press conference.
Also I think Trump held Mitch's hand bc he is afraid of steps.

Most of it was less than nonsense. It was barely distinguishable from my memories of working in a group home. At one point Trump appeared confused about whether he was going on a major foreign country visit that's listed in his official itinerary. Mitch stood quietly by for so long I forgot he was there. We don't care about Iraq. Hillary I hope you run (??). Football players are so mean.
He kinda mocked Mitch to his face. Etc.

One thing that struck me: when he talks about kneeling football players, he uses language that separates them from the concept of 'Americans.' Maybe not implied foreign, like with Puerto Rico, but...not stakeholders. Others. Its "so disrespectful to OUR country when THEY take a knee." Those pronouns keep recurring, and I can't tell if it's a dog whistle or just lazy low-vocab stupidity.
