Kosta Koufus and Chris Kaman both have them.

Aw man I thought I was going to get to post that first.

Makes the Whiteside contract look like a steal.

I know the cap is exploding and all that so it'll take some time to figure out which of these contracts are really bad and which are simply the new reality but man there are some scrubs getting PAID today.

I'd be surprised if they get anyone of note. Everyone will get scooped up while they wait on Durant. Maybe they give Howard a 2 year with a team option on the second year but I doubt it. It will be the same team as last year with the whole Brooklyn picks could be good next year talk to keep the fans from revolting. Its their own fault for promising big things.
Boston Herald reports that C's will offer a max deal to Horford tonight regardless of what happens with Durant.

It'd be nice if they got him. At least show someone good is willing to go there. I'd happily pay him 10 mil a year more than Evan Turner. He'll choose somewhere else though.

Why the hell do people think Chandler Parsons can still play up to a contract like that? He's clearly been damaged goods for a while now.

I love how that one dude reported yesterday that Durant was 90% coming back to OKC. What shitty reporting. So if he comes back, the dude can claim he was first to report it. If not, "hey I didn't say 100%"

Yeah I don't understand how "unless KD is blown away he's staying in OKC" is worth reporting let alone "BREAKING NEWS" scrolls....

Mike Conley, ye of zero all star games: richest contract in NBA history. Meanwhile in Chicago ....the bulls met with fucking Rondo.

That would be hilarious. What would you even do? I mean he is a Chicago kid. And you despise him so that'd be fun.

But yeah, apparently this Wade-could-leave thing is picking up steam.

My feelings aside it's a stupid move for a rebuilding team. The narrative when they dumped Derrick was we want to get younger and more athletic. Ok great. How does signing a pretty close to toast Wade help the team move in that direction? Garpax have no idea what they are doing. Just making it up as they go.

And to answer your question a bulls team with wade rondo and jimmys corny ass would be excruciating for me to watch. Knowing that team.wouldnt be good enough to win anything I'd probably just watch a lot of wolves and Knicks games instead.

I mean for as little sense as it would make for the Bulls it'd be just as odd a move for Wade. I highly doubt that will come to pass.

BREAKING NEWS: KD WAS "BLOWN AWAY" BY THE CLIPPERS' PRESENTATION!!!!!!!
