I will never understand how anyone can willingly choose to live in an area where you have to deal with snow 4 months of the year.

Snow is something you visit for very short periods on your own terms.

Hey wease, sorry to hear about all that latest stuff. UGH.
There was some sound advice on the last page. Sometimes you have to play it how you can play it, and do your best by the kiddo. Somehow, some way - that lightbulb needs to come on for his momma.

All that said, sometimes the system works. And a completely new place, people to care for him, and the security in knowing it’s the best way to isolate him from the nonsense.

We have a quasi-niece through adoption that has been doing extremely well being kept away from the nonsense. We never see her, but the state sends us a letter every year about being next of kin. So then we go through another song and dance with updating the counselor on where we are and what our statuses are. She’ll be 18 soon. We don’t even know this kid. Met her once at a birthday party.

We’re getting a dusting of snow in Denver also. Next time, say hi to Big Sky for me!

She was third place! She won some edibles and a bottle of hot sauce by local maker Lagrima del Diablo.
