If I have to endure the tweet about how blocking people is anti-speech, I guess I can endure this too.

It would be pretty awkward if Elon backed out and Twitter was stuck with a bunch of new or unbanned conservative accounts and the deactivations of liberal ones. There seems to be a lot.

There has yet to be a social media company that successfully introduced a freemium model to users and I can pretty confidently say that "pay us to retweet President Trump" is not going to be the breakthrough strategy

And of course the website has never been free, the price has always been user data.

I'd prefer a subscription model with no ads, but no idea how feasible that is.

There is an opt-in subscription model now, is there not?
