There ain’t gonna be any middle anymore!
I imagine that would be repulsive to a nihilist like yourself!
Folks just want to be safe and happy, Jesus.

then maybe dont be a douche and test where those limits are.

Why do you assume that the only way to overstep arbitrary and secret limits is to be a douche? Do you really think the people who impose these limits are on your team?
So do you get banned from public internet sites for saying “good day” or do get banned for saying “ sandy hook never happened and these supposed grieving parents are paid actors?
Peeps wrote:or better yet create your own twitter. should be simple enough. oh yea. those idiots that cry about being banned or shadow banned tried that and we are still waiting for it to take off
"Create your own social media site"
"Create your own server farms"
"Create your own payment processors"
"Create our own government regulations"

Wow why is this not taking off?
So if something is hard to do yet you enjoy it maybe abide by the rules

Starting to see all over social media: "so conservatives love free speech for Elon Musk but hate it for Colin Kapernick?"

Gonna tag Burt in one of those so he starts to see that kind of shit on his feed, too.

If I have to endure the tweet about how blocking people is anti-speech, I guess I can endure this too.

It would be pretty awkward if Elon backed out and Twitter was stuck with a bunch of new or unbanned conservative accounts and the deactivations of liberal ones. There seems to be a lot.

This makes sense, particularly in light of the argument that McP made (advertisers will want no part of this.) I don't think anyone should be surprised about a freemium model, nor do I think it would lose customers. People will absolutely pay $ to inject the good shit in their veins and get an edit button to boot so they can do it guilt free. This is the society we live in.

No such thing as a free lunch, etc

There has yet to be a social media company that successfully introduced a freemium model to users and I can pretty confidently say that "pay us to retweet President Trump" is not going to be the breakthrough strategy

And of course the website has never been free, the price has always been user data.

I'd prefer a subscription model with no ads, but no idea how feasible that is.

There is an opt-in subscription model now, is there not?
