This is indeed enjoyable, and I love Juan's playing on the album. His recent interviews (via wife) are uplifting--apparently he can't wait to get back on his fretless, which I'm actually trying my hand at lately. An instrument equal parts beautiful and terrifying.

I don't think I've even listened to 25 albums this year but I am nonetheless shocked and appalled to see an Of Montreal record crack the top 40.

i have zero interest in listening to the new album but of montreal has some good stuff

i need to liaten to the nadine shah album, kinda got tired of checking out new stuff recently, Juillet by En Attendant Ana is still album of the year

And En Attendant Ana is very good too.

i haven't heard anything from Of Montreal since they were on Yo Gabba Gabba in like 2010.

The Waxahatchee album has gotten the most play for me this year. I'm not sure it's my favorite, though. It just happens to sound really good on drives.
