The character is going through unfathomable psychic and emotional turmoil which he doesn't want to show to those around him for fear of consequences. Timmy does a great job portraying him

Saw this on the ol’ IMAX and loved it. I really loved the first one, and this one I loved even more.
Austin Butler might have been the standout for me, but I thought everyone was great. I love how he just went for it. That final fight scene (and everything at the end) was incredible.
First impression is that it did feel a little rushed at times, but I want to watch it again before I sign off on whether that’s a negative or not. It definitely felt like a Part 2 of 3. Great ending to the movie, but it doesn’t feel like a satisfying ending to the whole story. So I hope they make a third one, which I’m sure they will with all the money it’s making. The only thing I know about the third book is that
