No it's not helpful at all but I actually think this long wait might be in my favor. My logic there is that if I flat-out lost, I would have known by now. But maybe, just maybe, I'm in a long line of people waiting to have their credit cards charged.

I was at the Tampa show in 2008 with my (at the time) girlfriend, who had really no interest in Pearl Jam but was big into following fashion. We were sitting in our seats on the floor when she grabbed my arm and was like "OH MY GOD THAT WOMAN IS WEARING (fill in the blank expensive brand) SHOES!" I looked over out of obligation and laughed and said, "That's Jill McCormick, Ed's wife." We sat there and watched a stream of your stereotypical looking PJ-internet dudes (guys in jerseys with "VEDDER 10" on the back and stuff like that) come up and try to engage her in conversation. To her credit, she didn't smack anyone (she was holding their daughter, so I wouldn't have blamed her if she was like "GET THE FUCK AWAY!") and appeared to be rather polite. I couldn't help but wondering what the fuck on earth any of these people would have had to talk to her about. It was really creepy.

Here's the choices that guy posted a few pages back:

1) Brooklyn Night 2 - Reserved
2) Brooklyn Night 2 - Floor
3) Brooklyn Night 1 - Reserved

6) Hartford - Floor

His best shot is at choice 1 but, even then, that's far from certain since the NYC shows will be in very high demand. 10C have already confirmed that the GA sections have significantly less tickets available than reserved, so I imagine the GA section on both NYC shows (and most others) will be sold out on first preferences alone. As such, he's throwing away choices 2 and 4 as there's almost zero chance of him getting picked. Being selected for choice 3 is only possible if there are still 10C tickets left after everyone who put Brooklyn Night 1 Reserved at preference 1 and preference 2 has already been selected; that seems like a pretty slim chance to me. Same for choice 5: this guy only stands a chance if there are still tickets remaining once everyone who put Hartford Reserved at pref 1, 2, 3 and 4 has been selected. Again, I'm rather pessimistic. If he really wants to go to both Brooklyn 2 and Hartford, I'd be putting them at pref 1 and 2 and hoping for the best.

Haha, yes, I've seen this a lot. It's no mystery, 10C have actually made it pretty clear:

Q: How does the show priority selection factor in to the drawing?

A: For each show we will randomly draw members who have made that show their #1 priority. If any tickets remain the system will randomly draw names of members who have chosen that show as their #2 priority, and so on until every ticket for a given show has been sold.
