I have a question on the new jersey number rule. I forget which game it was, I think Rams/Bears, but the announcers said that right before the game, two of the Rams linebackers changed their jersey numbers. So all the game film that the other team studied and the opposing QB studied would be thrown off because he was looking for a different number. My question is, can you only change your number one time throughout the season? Or could they theoretically do this every week to confuse QBs that aren't as smart as Tom Brady?

Players changing jersey numbers
If a player wants to change his uniform number for the 2021 season, it's going to cost him: Under the NFL's current jersey manufacturing rules, a player will have to buy out the existing allotment of jerseys featuring their current number.

If a player wants to change his number for the 2022 NFL season, then he'll have to give notice, but won't have to buy the current uniform inventory.

I don’t think in-season changes are allowed but who the hell knows.

Unrelated question I have been meaning to ask you: Does Brady feel like “your” quarterback now or do you still see him as a Pat that you’re basically borrowing?

Tell you what, Brady as a Pat already kinda feels like ancient history to me.

Man I feel weird about trading such big names around. I didn't want Peyton Manning and I wouldn't like it if Dolphins got Watson for this reason. Just doesn't feel right. Tua is our guy now.
