Good thing I probably won't be able to watch this game, since I'm already marking that as an L. The rest of the schedule seems OK.
mark sanchez will throw 5 td's and joey's christmas will be ruined
Arrowhead in December is lethal for visiting teams, and the Broncos don't have the Peyton Manning trump card anymore. I would not be confident about that week at all.
they haven't had that card for quite awhile

I don't think there will ever be a time when I'm confident in the Chiefs playing the Broncos. Never ever.

So yeah, I love this draft.

Electro (or anyone else), any info on Adam Gotsis? That was a surprise pick but from what I'm reading I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'd like to have more for you here, I probably should, but I don't really know that much he did have an impact for Tech when he played, but he got hurt last year.
I'd say he's probably very mature and intelligent having to come half way around the world and depend on himself the last 4 years. He was obviously one of Paul Johnson's better players, and he is excellent in interviews having impressed John Elway. I remember listening to a few interviews with him, I think the appropriate adjective is Tough. Australian Rules Football guy.
That said, he's not much of a pass rusher on his own yet (he won't have to be in Denver), most people are going to say reach here obviously but within the scheme he's probably going to be useful. The other thing is, he's probably going to be a better player as a pro because he's still learning how to play and Tech has a pretty good recent history of turning out quality DL's. I think he could be the kind of player Derrick Wolfe is for you now. For Elway to pick him that high, I'm sure they really like him a lot and this draft had really wide fluctuations in grading from person to person. I think teams are really drafting for scheme more now than ever before.

umm, awesome? He looked capable. 2 interceptions doesn't constitute "awesome".

*Tipped balls.
Consider, he's a rookie playing against one of the best front 7s in football. As a debut, it doesn't get a lot better.
I thought he managed the offense very well.

Football hyperbole is in full swing and we're not even out of week 1. Shaping up to be a hell of a year out there, guys.

The 2nd one wasn't but it was instead a safety blitz altering his throw. And I'm not boarding the "awesome" train either, but I can understand some Broncos fans feeling a bit salty since a lot of the narrative was "No seventh round QB has ever done this!!!!" conclusion jumping.

fwiw, I thought going into the season he was/is their best option. He has a lot of upside and he seems to not get worked up over things, even when he makes mistakes.
