No need for a full set. Just give the kid a tambourine and a decent recording setup so they can truly understand the qualities of a good drum sound.

Yes, though the online system to book kids is still all wonky, so going to wait a beat to schedule.
I’m getting my jab next week so I can virtue signal all over town.

Our county booking page is also on pause until they get the new batches in.
Batches are dropping in Chicago right now, but you can only do kids at the CVS Minute Clinics and it’s all fucked atm.

Watching the group of people wait for care at our local CVS is one of the more depressing commentaries on the state of health care in the US
The only bad experience I’ve had is when their system went down, which is annoying but understandable. We had to come back because there was some legal stuff we had to sign off on that they couldn’t access. Maybe keep some hard copies around just in case?
Now Walgreen’s is always a clusterfuck.

Yes, we will get all the recommended shots (flu and COVID) in a few weeks at our local grocery story quick clinic. Our local hospital had drive through immunization days in 2020 and 2021 that were more convenient. Wish they went back to that.

We've been talking about doing chores/pocket money for our girls, but nothing has eventuated yet as anything they need/want we generally get
Leaning more towards the concept of - if you want 'x', then you need to do 'y' chores over this period and we'll get it for you
