man, you can't seem to catch a break.
granted, illnesses and traveling tend to hand-in-hand, but man...
hope it misses you.

When we were planning these voyages earlier in the year, during our kid’s first semester in school when she catches everything, I did fear and speak up about these possibilities, but it mostly fell on deaf ears, heh. Gotta live life and hope for the best I guess.
I’m legitimately considering a mask for the trip home, to avoid any viruses I can. Just tired of being under the weather at this point.

it's hard to avoid illness when you've got a kid.

And travel internationally twice in three weeks while being on the go.

Yeah we’ve definitely been tempting fate. I’m willing to remind my wife of this when she complains about having a cold while lounging in a cabana.

Staying in the city for once, I hope. There are some things I need to get done around the house that I just can’t do while looking after an exceedingly clingy kid.

Hunkering down tonight during the snowstorm. Heading up to Wisconsin for my soon to be five year old niece’s birthday party tomorrow afternoon. The wife and I are taking my folks out for a late seafood lunch during the insanity, while my sis and BIL mind all the rugrats. Then staying over at sis’s house tomorrow night… bourbon and playoff football in my BIL’s mancave.
Heading back to the lakehouse Sunday to chill til we head back to town Monday night for school/work Tuesday.
