Portland is the only show I've heard so far and I thought it was pretty great.

I don't mean to complain, but that version of mother on the Charlottesville boot is awful. Ed's voice just doesn't work for the entirety of that song; it was fun when he guested on it, but it's one cover I wish the band would leave alone.

From what I've heard around here, that Bootleg is a bit of a disaster. It's too bad, I really like that set list.

Yea plenty of better options if you're gonna make a purchase... Brooklyn, Philly, Hartford, Charlottesville, San Diego, Portland, Vancouver.... San Diego is probably my current favorite

I actually enjoy B-more much more than many folks around here. Ed's voice is very thin and squeaks from time to time (and fails completely for a line during LROM) but the set is quite nice and there are no "trainwreck" versions of songs here. Porch, RVM and Man of the Hour are all great. That being said if I was only buying one I would lean towards Charlottesville, Hartford and LA1. So far Spokane is good too, still have 2 discs to go on that one.

I noticed this on a number of shows too, seems very odd.

Do the band not even notice?

They have to right? I know many people here mock them but they are capable musicians! Are they jsut getting caught up in "the show must go on" "entertain" all at the expense of their art?

Blah.

I actually never noticed this. I just thought the song was supposed to sound that shitty. What do you think of the rest of the show?

This does seem really strange. Why are they being handed guitars that are out of tune for the song they're about to play? It makes no sense. Has this been happening for awhile? Past tours? I've never noticed it before.

Just finished San Diego. Tremor Christ ain't bad from here and the version of Yellow Ledbetter is also pretty good. On LA 1, WTF did this girl do that Ed lost his mind?
