That telephone call between Walt and Jesse. :luv: I wonder what will happen to Jesse as I don't see him getting killed yet. Maybe the Nazis will take him hostage?

Please note I do not watch the trailers, so sorry if this is incorrect based on that, but my guess:

Todd gets killed
Walt saves Jesse by making him the cook
Machine gun Walt is there to save Jesse

As much as I love how the show subverts my expectations and makes things better, I'd really love to see Walt carry out a Eastwoodian (Unforgiven) kind of reckoning.

my heart was racing for about 30 minutes after that episode.
i still dont see how we get from here to flash forward so quickly...

i also thought hank was going to get sniped before he turned around.

my only complaint: it is a little hard to believe both, especially gomez miraculously were not hit as soon as they opened fire.

I think Gomez was hit. I swear I saw blood on his chest as he took cover behind the car.

I think Gomez was hit, but it went a little quickly-- he looked to be in pain ducking down behind the car.

But yeah, that shit was intense. I was rolling around on the floor in frustrated agony at having to wait an entire week to see how this turns out.

While it's been complicated a little, my latest prediction stands...
Spoiler: show
Walt has to do some quick thinking to get them out of this, and eventually has to go Rambo on the Aryans to end it. I am also thinking he will be merciful and spare Jesse.

The x factor for me is whether hank gets out of this alive. I think Gomez is toast though.

why didn't hank just show a badge? Not that it would have guaranteed to stop anything, but it might have.

Because it would have taken one of his hands off the gun. He's smart enough to know they were going to shoot even if he did show a badge and that was just a trick.

Yeah. I was wondering the same thing in the heat of the moment...but in retrospect that was a chilling standoff until the bullets started flying. Hank and Gomez have the most indelible "We're fucked" looks on their faces.

If Hank and Gomie die then Walt is essentially off the hook, right? (on the legal side of things at least)

Yup. But even though he's evil, and we knew he survives, I still wanted Walt to escape via his smarts not his nazi buddies.

I would think so.

I don't see how Hank with a pistol, and Gomez with a shotgun made it as far as they did against that intense firing power from the arian dudes. If both make it out alive then it's just too unbelievable. My bet is Gomez dies, Hank gets shot, and Walt somehow buys time for both Jessie and Hank.

Good episode that was kind of spoiled a bit at the end for me. Typical Hollywood shootout. Not one of those guys had a good shot lined up?
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.

I had the same thought. Before the bullets started flying I expected it to be a Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid kind of thing.

If Hank was going to die it would have been much better to just to have the Aryans mow him down from a writing standpoint. I've reconsidered ad feel as if he will live now.

I think Hank will survive too. I mean, he, Gomie, and Walt should've all been killed in that firestorm.

Somehow, Walt will get him and Jesse out of this mess. I like the speculation that Jesse will have to cook for the Aryans. Hank will be shot, but before he gets a deathblow, Walt will negotiate with the Aryans to keep him alive - there's lots of money sitting right in that area.
