This show has gone to crap. It's turning into the same thing every season. I think checking back in for the final season is all there is really left to do.

Is there any endgame in the comics? Feel free to answer in a spoiler, if you want to. I'd love to know.
Do they find a cure? Do they all move to an island? That's what I would do. Bahamas all day.

So, I read the comic book wiki page....
Spoiler: show
Decided to just check the wiki page for the comics. So, does the story end with the Whisperers in the comics, or is it concluded in a book or something? Seems like a weak ending if it is left open. I realize you almost have to leave it open, in a sense, but it's like they end it as part of the cycle I've grown tired of, which is: Find safety, run into new bad guys, kill bad guys, lose a friend, hit the road for new safe place... repeat. I'd prefer it wrapped up with a cure or even the end of civilization, but no?

still enjoying. I also read the comics.

some episodes are better than the others, but that is to be expected in these kind of scenarios.

so no, i dont think it has gone to crap.

The whisperers IMO are quite interesting, but you also have a time jump a few years after that. I think the logical end for the show is the battle with Negan. Which shoould not happen till a final season 7.
I think season 5 has been very good. As long as they stay closer to comic, I stay for the ride.

I am so fucking bored with Walker attacks. It's the same every single time and they waste so much time with them. "Oh the story seems to be moving forward! But first, let's put 10 minutes predictable Walker attacks in there." We're 5 seasons into this, can't they just imply the Walker threat? This isn't exciting anymore.

Actually I like the walker attacks, the ones in the last two episodes have been particularly good.

It's the only reason I watch now. I don't care about any of the characters anymore, and the story is going nowhere.
