What changed?
I dunno, maybe nothing. I just haven't heard it in years.

I am mystified by so many of the choices in this music video by former W.A.S.P. guitarist Chris Holmes.

I think "Dashboard" is my favorite Modest Mouse song. Also, I don't really like Modest Mouse.

Everclear's "Father of Mine" is a pretty heartbreaking song.

STP's "Interstate Love Song" is really great.

Heartspark Dollar Sign is Everclears best song

I've never been a big fan of Everclear. But I suppose Father of Mine would be the song I like the most by them. I don't think I've heard Heartspark Dollar Sign.

I really liked Everclear in high school. Like a lot of those flavor-of-the-week alternative bands, a lot of their songs have aged poorly, but some of the songs from "Sparkle and Fade" and "Afterglow" still get me on the right day. "The Twistinside" is my personal favorite.
A couple big name never seens will have me at Music Midtown this year. I'm sure Van Halen & Elton John both know how to play to big crowds. I hope the promoters have Plan B ready if VH breaks up (again) before the show.

Often times, I don't listen to these bands not because I don't love the music, but because it makes me sad and feel depressed about days gone by

Yeah Nirvana and the others don't do it for me, but for some reason old Alice in Chains really hits me in the face with the the nostalgia hammer.
