You can totally get better seats and pay just a little bit more...there are ways...but I just (usually) wanna get my tix in hand and not worry about it anymore.

I've regretted it a few times because I know better tix were obtainable, but I was in the building and didn't have to scramble for anything and so I was happy.

Basically it's also fear based for some people. Afraid nothing else will come available.

I'm going to get tickets now for one of the Fenway shows and just wait and try my luck for the other show the week before it.

I spoke with my Cubs ticket representative yesterday and asked him about the Cubs pre-sale for the shows. He says they haven't even worked out the details yet.

I wish more groups would utilize the option to require concert goers to present the purchasing credit card at the entrance to the venue.
