If the tweet had started with something like “why am I poor and broke?” then I’d agree with you. It didn’t though. It’s just money saving tips here. Rich or poor, your bank account certainly gets smaller quicker when you do things like buy coffee at a shop or eat out every night.

i think chase forgot to add monthly account maintenance fees, minimum balance fees, overdraft fees, overdraft protection fees, returned deposit fees,
additional checks fees, paper statement fees, atm fees, savings withdrawal fees, inactivity fees, and probably a few other fees to that tweet....

Its obnoxious, but accurate. Visualization of spending habits is often shocking for people, especially people who until recently had a lot of their needs provided by schools or parents.

Actually, I just don’t care that people are bothered by such a simple thing. It’s good advice and people need to be able to separate the speech from the speaker.
