That's about how I felt with Vedder.

Although I'm done with concerts for the year, last month I saw Def Leppard (they have always been one of my favorites and they were great), Heart (still great after all these years) and a friend of mine got 3rd row tickets to Whitesnake back in August and that was awesome!

If it does, it's not a big one.

That's how I feel about them both. I can barely stand to hear somebody play solo for 30 minutes, let alone 2 hours.

I'm certainly interested to see Chris play solo at least once.
I saw Vedder twice in 2011 and both shows were great but I wasn't too disappointed he didn't add an Adelaide date on his last solo tour. I'd really like to see him tour with a band at some point.

I haven't seen Cornell or Vedder solo but if I had to choose one or the other I'd definitely choose Cornell.

I saw Cornell three times as a a solo artist, one in a festival and he was playing with an electric band, and two acoustic shows in a theatre. Once with Temple of the dog, and two times with SG.
Every show was special and amazing.

Saw the Bosstones last night at their annual Hometown Throwdown...fantastic as always...amazing how a 20 year old b-side that had never been performed live before can sound with proper rehearsal...if only certain other bands would realize that...

Rare, big name January concert for me tonight: Madonna.
I'm not a huge fan but she's one of the few major acts who's been around forever that I would like to see perform at least once but have not. She's got the catalog of course and you know with her the emphasis will be on "show". I'm looking forward to it.

I've seen CC and it was great. Never saw Soundgarden before then, they had already broken up. I have seen Soundgarden since then and it was solid, but I really enjoyed CC solo. That was like 10 years ago. The crowd when I saw Soundgarden detracted from the experience, it wasn't "awesome."
I hope to see PJ a dozen more times... No desire to see EV solo. I feel like that crowd would be a whole 'nother level of psychopaths. Plus my favorite PJ member is Mike. By far. I have seen him lots of other times (Flight to Mars, etc.) and he is great.

He was probably distracted by Kanye's hate tweets

Saw Gaz Coombes from Supergrass on his first US solo tour yesterday. Very cool show. A few guitars, a keyboard, and some loops.
