Ha, swifties are too soft and don’t have scar tissue from 30 years of crappy rips, unusable file formats, Napster, torrents, and hell even metal door leaks. All they know is that everything is at their fingertips instantly available on demand all the time. (I’m mildly surprised DM hasn’t leaked but kinda shocked TS hasn’t with all the attention she gets). Ok, I’ll stop yelling at clouds…

It’s an age that’s harder to leak things in. Fittingly, harder for us older fans to leak too.

albums don't really leak more than one or two days in advance anymore

Rainy Saturday here and the kids are out...this would literally be the perfect time for this sucker to leak if anyone finds anything.

They’re all still making CDs and Vinyl weeks/months in advance but I guess they’ve locked down that process because not much leaks. Plus they send a bunch of digital files around but those could have drm or other protections I guess. What I’m really saying is I don’t really understand why it seems like not as much leaks nowadays.

DRMs don’t protect against recordings of recordings.
NDAs on the other hand will keep folks in check.
