Don't think I would let that one slip by just because we are simpaticos!

I return to this thread with hat in hand: I had always assumed that "than" is functioning as a preposition in that sort of sentence (not a conjunction), when, in fact, some quick research reveals that it can go either way; it's really up to the speaker/writer, as "than" can be both a conjunction and a preposition.

I should have taken my own advice into account and considered Joey's perspective. You see? Growth is possible!

It’s funny, reading through Joey’s arguments, I hear what I likely would have said a few years ago. But I’ve changed my mind quite a bit on stuff like this.

In other words: I would much rather boring exposition be delivered during a stupid, gratuitous sex scene than...well, be delivered by two people standing in a room. I have zero problem with pointless titillation. Also, HBO has been in the cheap titillation game for years. It’s kind of their business model.

Maybe it’s all the exploitation and giallo I’ve been watching lately.

That's different though because never one has a penis been titillating or exploitative.

Tell others to stop asking me direct questions about my thoughts on this shit then. There's no soapbox, champ. It's just conversation.

Your diatribes are incredibly boring and you’re sucking the life out of this thread
