I was 13 when Ten came out. I'm now 45 and my 13-year old son is waiting with me for DM to drop.Thurman Murman wrote:When 14 year old me fell in love with this band i could have never imagined being 46, struggling to stay up till midnight just to listen to the new single from the band i still love. the acoustics in your daughter's closet are shitB wrote:I went to sleep while I was waiting, and I had a dream.
Stip came over to my house to do an initial listen of the song. My daughter was sleeping in my room for some reason so we went in her closet, but when we logged on, Stip immediately started getting in an argument with a bunch of podcasters on twitter before we even heard the song. So I went downstairs to my office to bring up the song. Stip eventually came down to join me and listen to the song. Then we were opening up cans of canned gumbo and dumping it down the kitchen sink.
I don't remember hearing the song.

I can imagine it quite well.
