I was really hoping Rey would have grabbed Ben'shand as well. That entire scene was magnificent.

A nihilist king and queen of a new universe free of the baggage of history who have rough, passionate, mindmelting sex every night? Nah, what sounds appealing about that?

I liked it overall, though not as much as the last two Disney films. But when it was good it was really good. Probably could have been edited down some too, felt a little long. It did go in some unexpected directions, I will grant it that.
I'm very curious how they will proceed without the Leia character. Driver and Hamill were both excellent.

I think you just scripted the The Lust Jedi.

The horse-creature stampede scene was cool.

Was it? The whole section felt like a waste of time. Except for Del Toro, course.

Justin Theroux should have been Gregg Turkington.

I'm not sure that it was necessary narratively, but I enjoyed the visuals of it. No less enjoyable than the pod-scene in TPM or countless spacefighter scenes. I will say, I was not a fan of the Rose character at all.

Del toro was incredible. Hope we get more of him.

Definitely the weakest part.

I really can't overstate how embarrassing every Fisher scene was. I laughed my way through all of them. Especially that part where she turns into Superman and flies through space. LMAO

other than that scene I thought she was pretty strong in this.

I want to forgive the stuff on Canto Bight because of that wonderful closing moment. But I think the movie could have been trimmed if you cut it and made Benico Del Toro's character a resistance fighter who goes in with Finn and Rose (she was fine - I like her little line before she kisses Finn) and then betrays them.

Rey took those Jedi books right? I just read a review that said they were destroyed, but they were in a drawer in the Falcon at end, right?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I didnt love Fisher either. She served the role fine but if she hadn't have died prior to release of the movie, i would have suspected she might soon after watching.
