literally he needs to live
the only thing that could go wrong now, with this lead, is he dies
he's not hillary
james comey is gonna shut the f up
trump has alienated everyone except white trash
there's not enough KGB out there to suppress this vote well enough to make up for losing by 6%+ in every swing state
Just stay the F alive
and if he dies
pretend he is still alive weekend at Bernie's style

Texas continues to fascinate me. 8 million people voted in 2016 / 2018. 700,000 voters have made the effort to register to vote since the pandemic started. Up to 9% of eligible voters there have only been actualized within the last year.

Well, if you count TX as a swing state then Trump is leading in one of them
Swing state averages:
Arizona: Biden +3.3
Florida: Biden +4.0
Georgia: Biden +0.2
Michigan: Biden +7.3
Minnesota: Biden +9.3
Nevada: Biden +6.4
North Carolina: Biden +2.2
Ohio: Biden +0.7
Pennsylvania: Biden +7.2
Texas: Trump +3.0
Wisconsin: Biden +6.3

a lot of unemployment in that state since the price of Oil dropped. maybe voters mad that Trump hasn't done more to help them
and maybe latinx voters finally showing up

I’m not interested in the A/B of “does Trump win Texas y/n,” because I’m not at all worried about Trump getting the votes needed for re-election in other places. I’m interested in what it means for the state in terms of local races, the make-up of the electorate, how people campaign there, and future races.

I’m also interested in Texas because it is microcosmic of the nation right now. One thing I think about this moment (and this is why I think Trump and Trumpism are ideological lost causes) is that you’re not seeing 4 million apolitical Americans suddenly being “shown the light” (lol) and turning Democrat...I think you’re seeing 4 million apolitical Americans get fed up with the noise and the turmoil and with politics interfering with their personal lives. There simply aren’t enough politically energized Americans on any side to offset the balance of 4 million apolitical Americans all hating one damn thing at the same time.
I think the republican party is fine as a brand, but only to the extent that it can divorce itself from Trumpism. Which goes back to the talk about the future of the Republican Party, and the populists having enough numbers to win the primaries but not elections.

While this is what’s happening With the numbers I think the scary part is Trump telling his crowds he’s defeated it, is him telling them I really dont Fucking care about you if you catch it. Just get out and vote for me.
He’s sacrificing possibly millions of people for his own end.
