We got talent back but he's the best defensive player in baseball. :(

And the Braves continue to shit on their fans by trading fun to watch players for prospects who will never pan out.

Fuck mouse talking John Copalella. The only people happy about this are stat geeks talking about Aybar hitting 20 pts higher than Simmons.

The Braves suck dick.

I'm sure 2 more middling arms will fill the building every 5 days.

It's a good time to buy stock, well, maybe wait until they trade Freeman.

If you love averagely talented pitchers and unwatchable defenders that can't hit... You'll love braves country

The Braves continue their fire sale, the Falcons are the most unimpressive 6-3 team ever, the Bulldogs can't beat a big boy team, if anyone noticed them Tech stinks too, and it's hard to care about the NBA until the AllStar break. Good times to be an Atlanta sports fan but at least we're used to it.

That's pretty cool, thanks.

Lots of things on there that I disagree with, but so far it looks like Earl Bloom is the only egregious dumbass.

If you thought Andy Dalton was sensitive, you'll love John Coppolella.

Yeah John, the Braves are a gold standard, if that gold is wrapped around warm melted pieces of chocolate left in a hot car.

The Braves are tanking, and they are a dumpster fire of a franchise today. Yeah, you deserve more criticism than you are getting.

Please quit.

I have no problem with the idea of tearing things down. If you decide to rebuild, you're probably better off trading away assets like Simmons and Freeman and really committing to the future instead of going half-way. But yeah, the way he's trying to pass it off as "Hey, we're not that bad... we're trying our best!" is hilarious. If you think it's what's right for the franchise, then own up to it. Also, maybe don't trade a cheap, young, controllable pitcher and one of your top prospects for a 30-year-old 3B who's never played a game in the majors.

It's usually not a good idea to take notes on the way the Toronto Maple Leafs run things, but when they decided to rebuild the team they were completely upfront and blunt about it by saying things like "This is going to be painful, but it's what we need to do to build this into a franchise the fans can be proud of again." The turnaround from even the most short-sighted of Leafs fans was amazing because they believed that management truly believes in the plan. The Braves are kind of doing the opposite at this point.
