yes! it kept getting better as it went on.. sly and vein melter were the standouts for me

I am enjoying the hell out of the album Fountain Baby by Amaarae. It's kind of like if Yolandi Visser made a sultry R&b album with a good amount of weirdness thrown in. Beautifully assembled album experience too. I can see how her vocals would be a barrier of entry but it really works for me

You're absolutely right. I was just trying to make a funny, now I am beginning to wonder if all African women do sound like that.
