I don't know. I'd like an opinion before I commit. It is Angel sci-fi so I'm kind of into that.

A bunch of supposedly-invincible plant ghosts try to take over a old couples house from a blind girl but are defeated by water from a pool where some woman secretely lives. Also, there is an "airbender."

Over the weekend I watched
Southpaw
The Maze Runner (In lead up to having to take Mrs Rangi's twins to the second one for their birthday) What piece of shit this film was
The Maze Runner : Scorch Trials  Better then the first one, but that's not saying anything
Self/Less  Intersting concept - could have maybe been handled better

When Mistress America is good, Mistress America is really good. I liked it a lot. The tone occasionally gets confused, though. There are a few moments where it loses itself and the characters start saying Wes Anderson things exactly the way Wes Anderson characters speak. And the movie loses itself and just stops working for a few moments (and maybe one whole scene). But it comes back to itself. I'd be willing to forgive that more if this was a first feature. I feel like Baumbach by now should have been able to pick a tone and stick with it a little better. But I can't say that I didn't love the movie. I just wish those few moments when it loses itself had been excised or cleaned up.

The Overnight - I liked it. Fucked up and strange and not quite sure what kind of a movie it was going for but very enjoyable
Jesus Henry Christ - Quirky and cute. Loved it.
