It gets complicated with the "jock tax".

I hope he does come back. He would totally embarrass himself. Age and time off= completely toast.

lets first define workplace.

are we talking his job as a basketball player in the NBA or OKC?

the thing is he blasted LBJ for the mentality of i cant win on my own or with what i have so i am going to go to a team where i think we have a better chance to win it all.

what did KD do? same exact thing.
Job as a basketball player for OKC. He thought they had what it took to win it all. It easy to say what he said when your team is young and on the verge of big things. Due to injuries, bad luck, and lack of clutch play his team wasn't able to win it all.
Yeah, he was up 3-1 on the greatest team of all time (LOL) and flanked by a top 10 player in the league. It was just never going to happen there, too many things stacked against him. Give me a break. He's a weak minded competitor. It's okay to just call it what it is.

I really won't be surprised if the GSW don't even make it to the finals next year. They are a finesse team that got over powered by the Cavs and now went further into the finesse direction. They'll burn through the regular season but once the refs let things get physical in the playoffs they'll struggle again. Plus chances are Durant and Curry will get hurt. I actually feel bad for them they'll get destroyed when the come up short.

They got beat in the Finals because of a legendary performance by Lebron, a Draymond suspension, and Bogut being hurt for the tail end of the series. They just essentially traded Barnes (who no showed several games in the Finals) and Bogut for Durant. The Finals are certainly not guaranteed, but let's not pretend they are pansies who just make a lot of jump shots.

If only Bogut were healthy!! What could have been if the GOAT was healthy!! I'd blame max Barnes and his horrible shooting first second and third then go with Iggys back, stephs broken bird body.....then green suspension....then bogut.

I forgot about Iggy's back. They missed Bogut's illegal screens.

You could list a bunch of reasons why Cleveland didn't win the previous year. I didn't call them pansies. They are a finesse team that makes a lot of jump shots. How else would you describe them?

A team that passes the ball a ton, takes and makes three pointers, and plays great defense. A team that has been in the top three in total defense the past two years is not a finesse team in my eyes.

So Garpax didn't meet with Wade in New York today as planned because they had flight issues. Lol that is hysterical. I bet they got bumped and took the voucher. Flexibility!!

' we are taking full responsibility for not making the playoffs this year but you know some things just happen. Had we gotten on that plane I totally believe we would be contending right now. We're going to have to look at our flight procedures closely. That is totally going to be on the table of things we look at going into the offseason.'

Seriously, you play in the united center and you can't catch a flight? I wonder what the real reason was?

I agree; didn't a few USA Basketball "dream teams" fall short in international competition despite the media claiming them as unbeatable? Same goes here.

I guess. That defensive ranking doesn't seem to match what I saw during the playoffs. It lists them as 8th this year when I googled it behind the Clippers. Kevin Durant is the biggest guy on the team now. Maybe Kevin Willis can come out of retirement.

Gsw will be in the Finals barring catastrophic injury. Nothing else to debate really.
