Watching a livestream of a 1992 or so show by Metallica. Fuck, they were Gods.

I saw them in 86 on the MoP tour when they opened for Ozzy. They were the better performance that night

My buddy who passed away actually gave me his personal recording of the live broadcast from 1984, and I still have the original tapes. I've never watched it, but he told me about some funny moments that he still remembered, such as Phil Collins coming out of a big airplane with all the MTV VJ's mouths hanging open like it was the most amazing thing they had ever seen.

I'm not a huge Queen fan, but I heard their performance for the first time ever the other day, and looking at the list of the other performers, it's easy to see and hear why they brought the house down, even in a country where their career was basically over.

The commentary tracks for both videos are on Youtube; apparently they couldn't get one of the kids from the "1979" video because he was in jail.

Listening some Metallica songs after maybe 20 years. Man, i looooved Load and ReLoad back then.

Hero Of The Day is great. Until It Sleeps is my fav song from them along with Welcome Home.

I tend to go on a kick with an individual artist and listen to them exclusively and exhaustively for a while. It can be frustrating to get into an artist when they only have one album or so. I've been on a Maggie Rogers kick for a few days and I still feel like I am very much in the middle of it---but at the same time, I'm getting a little tired of the same fifteen songs as my only options

You could always get her other stuff.

I totally forgot that song existed but a few seconds in I was like: "damn, I don't hate this one" then at 3:13 in I remember that I do.

I understand that it's "mature-sounding" because they branch out a bit, and "Misery" is cool, but actually it has a lot of shitty songs and the production is bad

It's better than everything that came later but it's still not great, probably the worst album they'd released up to that point IMO
