Tried my new shoes today - have blisters now

Didn't quite get the distance I was hoping for. Made the mistake of asking my wife to come collect me after an hour - she came to get me a lot earlier

43 minutes - I was fading by the end
3km - 13:58 minutes
5km - 24:39 minutes
7km - 37 minutes
