Different type of evil. Trump could potentially see us all nuked, and is certainly helping erode what remains of the moral fiber of our country. Pence would be a more garden variety sort evil, with various acts against women, minorities, and the environment; but he would likely be much more effective than Trump.

I'm looking at the articles about the Florida Gators coaches/players receiving death threats and I think that yup, we got the president we deserve.

I'm fully aware that these things have a long history but Jesus Christ how fragile do you have to be to threaten the life of a football player because 'your team' didn't win?

Until Afghanistan the longest US conflict was Vietnam. I remember it being an issue in the '92 presidential race that Bill Clinton did not serve for his country.
