You can’t completely appreciate or understand the politics and social aspects of GOT unless you’ve seen the Wire. Or the structure of the storytelling.

The dockworkers elements in S2 felt anonymous, that whole plot could have come from any number of Ben/Casey Affleck projects floating around out there. Also, they gave them weird anonymous accents. Maybe that helps people from outside the Bmore area, since that is an accent you really have to grow to love, but it felt off to me.

I'm glad we're finally talking about something interesting in this thread btw
