if i have a potato, i want savory. i don't particularly like mixing sweet and savory either.

nothing disappointments me more food wise than going to a restaurant to order a burger and finding out that they only have bread & butter pickles. it's worse than seeing mayo as a standard condiment that you have to ask them to leave off.

Chris, maybe you'd prefer that oatmeal recipe in its original form. Pumpkin puree (that we didn't have) instead of sweet potatoes.

mashed sweet taters are good, if seasoned correctly.

fuck sweet potato fries though, hugely overrated. though i did recently have some made using satsumaimo (japanese sweet potato) that were great.

No. It very much is not.
i didn't say eating the mayo . . . that would be just as bad
