i think thats pretty overstated. there are plenty of songs on the last three albums that come from newish places.

I dont think Cant Deny Me is a good song, but theyve written lots of good songs post Yield- Binaural- Riot Act - S/t (wherever you want to stop), and they wrote sub par songs before it. I continue to believe there are really three issues at the root of people’s problems



1. Eddie cant sing like he used to. Either you make allowances for it or you resent it
2. the production of the last three albums is generally crap, and paints the songs in an unflattering light
3. There is not much new music, which amplifies the impact of 1 and 2.
