You’re good. Don’t worry about the others.
I watched Infinity War after having only watched the two GOTG films and Dr. Strange. I had zero difficulty following the characters or the storyline.
Not what I meant
Do you just think those are the best ones? I honestly don't know what you meant.

Pretty much, though Thor is just okay. I think the first CA is also just okay and I like GOTG 2 quite a bit. Outside of those it’s all garbage.

Yeah, I haven't seen enough to comment on quality. I thought GOTG 1 was a bit better, but liked them both. Dr. Strange was...something, not really a rip-roaring good time, just sort of had it on while putting the kids to bed a few nights in a row, did the same with Infinity War. I will probably watch EG when it gets to Disney+

I made it about three minutes into Dr. Strange

I couldn't finish Dr. Strange, either. I used to like Cumberbatch before this "movie".

I gotta say, it was really perfect to see this whole thing ending with Cap´s dance.
Really nice.

Opening with "Dear Mr. Fantasy" was a great little surprise, and poignant. One of my all time favorite songs.

Just watching Guardians now and realising it’s kind of vital.
The collector shows and tells the birth and importance of the infinity stones.
And we see thanos for the first time (think it’s the first?)

Oh yeah, i agree.
Thanos appeared in the post credit scene of Avengers, but yeah this is the first time he does some stuff.

really the only movies that don't contribute to Endgame in a meaningful way are Hulk, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Thor, Antman, and Spiderman Homecoming. Pretty much everything else has a significant tie in in terms of plot or character development. I guess Black Panther is less important if you are watching Endgame in the absence of infinity war.
I am looking forward to someday being able to watch those two as 1 5.5 hour story. It will be interesting to see how Infinity War is reassessed in the aftermath of Endgame. We all knew the snap wasn't going to stick in terms of the deaths, but the undoing of it was a stand up and cheer moment and the impact the snap had on the survivors was very real. When we watched Infinity War the focus was on the death of spiderman, not how the death of spiderman changes Ironman.
