For the people that still don't get the "no cops, no jails, separate courts" thing...

Patrisse Cullors (BLM co-founder):

How do we find common ground in America to address the legitimate concerns about system racism and it's ongoing impacts and still have some measurable form of public safety?

Ok so if I understand correctly: Ma’Khia Bryant should be with us ... but the girl in pink she was stabbing shouldn’t? This person got any ideas about what exactly to replace police with, or is she moving straight into the Purge?

By the way is this the same anti-capitalist Patrisse Cullors who bought herself $3M worth of houses last year or is that a different Patrisse Cullors? Whichever one this is, it’s pretty cool she had enough free time during the day to watch the whole Chauvin trial.

Edit: Had to fix the spelling of her name

If she's that rich you'd think she could remove that wart from her forehead.

If we were to drop the ad hominem for second... what is the reality of the alternative she seeks? There is a reason why this same system is ubiquitous across the world.

I have never seen that before but it kinda describes every single RM post about Trump’s presidency that wasn’t made by Josh or Macphisto.

I'm not making fun of like someone’s crazy uncle who can just retweet whatever.
Trump's catastrophic, criminally negligent policy and political failings as a public leader only make me want to call him a fat fuck(if we must pick physical attributes here) that much more.
My disliking of his physical size is a great vehicle for waving my dick around so you know how much I hate him.

That's to say nothing of Patrisse Cullors who I don't have an opinion of.

edit: So like Bi_3 is asking, what's really behind the hatred Verb?

Patrisse Cullors is the type if person you kinda have to have an opinion on.

You either believe she’s using the Donald Trump/Joel Osteen playbook to sell a different brand of snake oil, or you believe she is not.

I was more wondering what she was planning on establishing after abolishing the current system of jurisprudence in this country.

The left has some things to iron out, but the data already shows that "defund the police" and other such concepts do not have much support, even among Democrats. How scared does someone have to be today to believe our current system of jurisprudence is under threat of abolishment? Why do people always want to seek out the more extreme quotes and debate those? Don't get me wrong, ~middle-aged dudes on a message board might want to, but I hope we can all connect the dots from "BLM is a real, dangerous threat to America" (which is as common a theme in conservative media as any), to "Joe Biden is a radical socialist, and Libs are destroying America." I don't know how we find that elusive common ground that BI talks about when half the country feels constantly under threat. For all the talk about how Libs were too obsessed or afraid of the bad Orange man, you can turn on AM radio any time of day, or prime-time FOXNews, and be reminded that the mission of the rival party is to destroy everything that makes America great, and smile while committing mass "infanticide". And this has been going on for a very long time - I would argue it's more a reason Trump had an opening than any other.

Agree that data show it's not that popular today, but with 20% of dems supporting abolishment and over a third supporting defund (numbers that are higher in the youth), it's a viable political position for many to take.

I also believe that most of have genuine concerns for the world we leave our kids, so it matter what we discuss and think and wonder about even on a message board. Even if we can't enact whole of society change we can educate ourselves on perspectives outside of our own to prepare for the moments when our kids look to us for understanding and advice, and we can stand up when we see the balance between education and indoctrination in our schools tilting away from what we want.

Statistically crime can drop but I bet you still wouldn't want to live in Newark. Lots of cops probably just watch youtube videos in their car these days.

If I was a cop and some woke police chief told me the best thing I could do on the job was to only engage with the public if absolutely necessary I would gladly be in chill mode. This stuff is not complicated.
