i wonder how many people bought Rodgers Jets jerseys
was thinking this too
and how many people overpaid for tickets / season tickets expecting to see Rodgers in NYC
and how many new sponsors signed up to the team or paid more bc they expected Rodgers as front-man
such a classic Jets tragedy

the Jets OL inadequacy was obvious to so many during the offseason acquisition spree ... I don't think anyone actually expected Rodgers to go down for the season on the 4th play from scrimmage, but I think a lot of people expected him to get roughed up / be running for his life certain games

Wide open? Not if the Phins keep playing like that. We'll see Sunday night how they match up.
Yeah lol at Patriots fans. The dolphins with Tua will win the division by at least 3 games over Mac Jone led Patriots.

Football is quite complex if you're actually paying attention and analyzing what's going on.
indeed - different issue - it is a cottage industry and difficult to be close to that level of detail - the TV commentary and camera angles are not designed to show you that
it's designed for the mouth-breathing masses

I expected him to get hurt at some stage. He should’ve been pushing brass to beef up his protection instead of signing Randall Cobb and the rest of his crew. His hubris is what makes this so satisfying.

yes but they put it all on the table and don't have a QB that can get them into/through playoffs
not gonna get 3 INTs every game

I think the assumption is Tua wont be able to stay on the field.

Well, some of us are film-junky, high IQ fans. Just saying.

Kind of a tired assumption. If you look at him this pre-season and against the Chargers, he looks sturdy, stout and much more confident in the pocket. Fingers crossed, still.

It’s a fascinating division and will probably come down to the wire as these teams beat up on each other. The Bills are the most well rounded, the Dolphins are the up and comers, the Jets still have a great defense, and the Pats have Belichick’s wizardry.

Bills just feel like they're trending way down this season. May have missed their window with Daboll leaving.

Have they improved his protection? Rodgers has basically perfected the QB position but that didn’t help him last night.

The offensive line and scheming kept Tua clean all game against the Chargers, without Terron Armstead. Austin Jackson finally looks like a really good RT. And the Chargers have a really good D-line with marquee pass rushers.

Though Rodgers does hang onto the ball too long. Like Tua.

LOL Tua has the quickest release time in the league. His quick reading of defenses is probably his best asset as a QB

It's not the fans, it was the radio hosts. The fans are generally way down on Belichick and the team, lol. I think radio needs/wants these guys to be good and relevant again but they just aren't.

It's only a matter of time before the most hit QB in history goes down with a career ending injury. Talking about me Boy Cousins!!!
