(I don't even think they or more than 1% of the Pearl Jam fan community would even want such a thing, that's only me and some other people on theskyiscrape)

Releasing albums more often would enable them to be more creative and not make their albums so much by the numbers I think. There wouldn't be so many expectations then.
Really interesting points. Are they bound by the past?
nah, bound out of obligation though, Cause thats all we've got.

That would have been very interesting. Doubt it will ever happen.
I'm hoping Stone's upcoming Painted Shield album with Mason Jennings scratches this itch. Apparently Stone wrote all the music.
I want it now yes.

I would like them to try what Wilco did with Stars Wars and Smilco. Two albums released only one year apart that sound like they're not trying to prove anything at all but not in a lazy way. It's Wilco having fun without making a huge artistic statement which produced my two favorite records of them since A Ghost Is Born. I don't want Pearl Jam to only make records in this way but I think it would work out for them.

Following Gigaton, one of their most produced albums yet, with a spontaneous rough sounding album would be pretty nice, actually.

Yes, hopefully they can both keep up the good trend, and do something different.

No Code is number 149 on ITunes right now

I am just curious why.

Ten, VS. the greatest hits album often show up on the Itunes top 200. But No Code?

Did I miss something?

Ok after a bit of research, Present Tense is number 100 on ITunes singles.

The only thing I can imagine is that maybe it has something to do with the Michael Jordan documentary?

Ha. I guess I am a little late to the party on this.

I never would have imagined my favorite Pearl Jam song would be a semi hit 25 years later.

Yes, please. Writing duties delegated to a one S. Gossard, preferably.
