I'm not wild about all of the lyrics but it's a great tune, particularly the chorus.

Chemistry is a bit low, zeb. Maybe rethink that :?

Six Shooter is the only song I can think of by them that I don't like.

Yeah, that one kicks ass. Seems like a TCV leftover or he wrote it and decided he didn't want to be stuck with it if they never do a second album. Sounds like a mix of Gunman and Scumbag Blues.

I'm always surprised people don't seem to rate Tension Head - I think it's a monster of a song, especially live. There's a great version on the No One Knows CD single:

http://grooveshark.com/#!/search/song?q ... n+Fiddler)

They closed with it at a Melbourne show I was at back in 2003, which to this day I am convinced is responsible for my mild tinnitis.

I guess this is as good a time/place as any to ask - if anyone out there has a copy of this show I'd really appreciate a hook-up/trade (or a FLAC rip of the No One Knows single for that matter )

I don't think it's life-changing, but there's a better ratio of good/forgettable to me than on their previous two records.

In a general sense, I think Queens are a killer EP band who just happen to record albums.

In other news, Josh again confirms non-festival Australian tour in 2014. I just checked, these dudes have only played one headlining show in Adelaide ever and that was back in 2004 (and I missed it.) Make it happen, gentlemen.

(We did get festival shows in 2001, 2003, 2008 and 2011 - I only caught them at the last one. They toured in 2005 but skipped Adelaide altogether.)

This is their best work since SFTD for sure. Maybe since Rated R. It's a cohesive and concise piece of art.

And Tension Head is freaking awesome. One of my faves though I probably lean towards the Mondo Generator version.

Good news re 2014 Autumn tour too.

I'd put Chemistry way way up there.

The placement of Avon is cause for concern.

My local indie record store was advertising on Facebook that they were selling this on vinyl yesterday. Just went in to pick one up and the guy told me he'd received an embargo and couldn't sell any more until tomorrow. He also said he didn't have many left and to get in early. So hopefully I can pick this up tomorrow for realzies.
