I raided the merch table at the Bonnie Prince Billy show last night, picking up:
The new self-titled LP (limited? not sure how many, not widely released)
The Mindeater 10'' (limited to 700 copies)
Haggard Harper Bonnie 7'' (limited to 1000 copies)
Midday / You Win 7''

Haven't spun it yet, but I'm excited. I figured they had a secret stash of them under the table, so when I pointed to it and said, "I'll have one of those," I was shocked when the guy at the table picked up the only one they had and gave it to me.

I have all of these they're all really good. But yeah haggard harper bonnie is something else. Side a of the mindeater is great too.

When I saw BPB in 2010, the whole group opened for themselves as "the Babblers." Will was dressed from head to toe in full body pajamas. I was quite buzzed and the merch guy didn't set up until after the Babblers set. I asked the merch dude if that was BPB and the Cairo Gang and he smiled and said he couldn't say, then he gave me a free copy of the Midday/You Win 7".
Can't wait to see BPB solo in DC next month and pick up the new album on vinyl.
