You're right, I should only look at the five guys above you in post count.

I'll do what I should always do in these situations: consult Harmless.

I will refrain from comment for fear of being labelled an oppressively cisgendered, ableist transphobe.

Another example of great amazing first 4 tracks....I just love how GSMF, Got Some and The Fixer are tied up.
I never noticed how cool and spacey the guitars in the chorus from Got Some are...is there a spacier album than Backspacer? They really went for a post punk kinda vibe here.

Force Of Nature is other great one...Eddie´s delivery is really passionate and at the same time kinda restraint and it works.

And the groove is just magnificent. Reminds me of Vs for some reason.

March Madness always makes me rethink different parts of the catalogue and for whatever reason this year it's Backspacer.

It all hangs together rather well. I like that it at least sounds of a piece, unlike Lightning Bolt.

I like everything save for Amongst the Waves and would replace Supersonic with Ole.

I don't think I've been listened to this album for at least four years. Maybe 5. I suppose I'll revisit it at some point.

yeah, i thought about it too. Backspacer is cohesive in a way LB is not. I guess my main problem with LB is that it feels like a greatest hits with all the moods and version we know about the band instead of a proper album.
Hell, it even contains an older song re treated with the band.

Haha, I probably won't, at least anytime soon. I have no desire to listen to it or LB. never say never though I suppose.

Haha! But man, I love stip. he's terribly wrong about PJ, but I wouldn't have him any other way.
