I think I've come to like the title track the best thus far (whoever said Carrie has grown as inhabiting a character in her vocals was spot on). I think my main irritation with it is it sounds like two songs that are stitched together rather than a unified thing. I like both parts, but the jump into the loud section takes me out of it.

And agreed, thanks for sharing that Guardian piece; it's very complex and layered, and coming away from it underscores for me that it's missing the point to try and take 'sides' in something like this. It's complicated, messy and everyone involved has their reasons.

Guys, can we all agree that Jumpers is a straight up killer tune?

I listen to an SK album a few times a month, sometimes more.

I plan on listening to this new album until it breaks my turntable.

My bet would be, if Janet is now drumming for Kermit Thee Frog, that Animal will now be in SK? and no one knows what gender that guy is so seems fitting
